got well fast and happy anniversary

I made this as a card for my ma and pa for their 36th wedding anniversary.












I also double sided it and made a belated get well soon card for my mum. so belated she has since recovered from her broken ankle. You put your fingers through and pretend they are legs.

Doodle Bug Competition

I found this competition on the guardian website and thought it might be a fun thing to do. Plus I needed to practice a bit of scenery/ backgrounds. I do so hate drawing backgrounds, and those leaves took bloody forever to do.

Hello

Umbrella tree is pretty naff but i thought i'd put it up anyway. I was having a blank day. I like the other one, it is alright.

ME: I'm alright. bored mostly and a little uninspired but not particularly unhappy. This is a pretty meaningful blog post, isn't it? mmmm I've fixed my other blog (natashapollack.blogspot.etcetc) for more sensible stuff, meaning I can be a little sillier on here. Not right now though, I'm not in the mood.

I had a belated 'Heart Beat' moment a few weeks back when a picture I drew was posted on the 6 music website. 

I can't quite remember why but the theme of the drawings were 'Freelance Whales' so mine was a free lance tree surgeon whale. Naturally.
